Parenting Plan Basics: What to Include Beyond the Calendar

A parenting plan is more than a schedule—decision-making, holidays, travel, communication, and expense sharing.

A parenting plan documents how separated parents will raise a child: time-sharing, decision-making (education, health, religion), holidays, transportation, communication norms, and sometimes expense sharing.
